Parodies are an excellent source of comedy, and since we’re in the Youtube generation, movie fans everywhere finally had the chance to make their own! Check out these hilarious self-made movie trailers, many of which are surprisingly close to the real trailers! And with news that Youtube will be extending the length of uploadable movies, we might even see full self-made movie parodies! Here are some of the best self-made trailers:
Some people had the extremely lucky chance to watch a screening of the most anticipated film of this summer: The Dark Knight, and they made reviews! I’m not much of a comic book fan but I loved Batman Begins with it’s realistic, gritty interpretation of Batman, and from the reviews of “The Dark Knight” it seems like they notched it up a bit more! The reviewers also commended the late actor Heath Ledger’s portrayal of Joker, proclaiming him the scariest villain in movie history! From the trailers alone I couldn’t agree with them more, Joker will surely make kids around the world have nightmares!

We’ve seen a lot of comic book movies this year, like the awesome Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and the surprisingly entertaining Hancock, but The Dark Knight has a lot of expectations to live up to, of which I’m sure we won’t be disappointed. It will hit theaters everywhere on July 24, 2008!
You’ve probably seen a dozen or so bad movies in your lifetime, and noticed that some of the worst scenes ever become unintentionally comedic. I’ve always loved these moments and I guess they’re what makes these utterly horrible movies enjoyable to watch, especially with friends! Here’s a collection of the funniest worst movie moments:
1.Troll 2 - Made by an Italian team of filmmakers and a cast of stars from Utah on a low budget, this sequel to an equally horrible movie became one of the biggest cult hits of recent years, thanks to the scene below. Check out that intense line delivery!
2. Tough Guys Don’t Dance - I haven’t even heard of this movie until I saw a clip of (Oscar winner) Ryan O’Neal’s epic line delivery from the film after he reads a… supposedly terrifying letter. Somehow you can really feel the horror.
3. Star Trek: TOS - I love Star Trek and in no way is it a bad show, but this fight sequence totally takes the cake for worst fight scene ever. I mean… wow.
4. Undefeatable - From the worst fight sequence, we jump forward to the most… incredible fight sequence ever captured on film! Whoever did the choreography for this enjoyable scene wouldn’t have thought how unintentionally funny this came out to be: from the facial expressions, shirt ripping, the suddenly oily bodies and a handicapped woman who comes put of nowhere and kicks ass! It’s definitely the best worst scene in a movie, ever.
I’m a huge fan of video game music, and I know it sounds dorky but I probably listen to them more than any other form of music. I also enjoy it when people do amazing covers of these songs. Here’s a couple of videos featuring amazing covers.
Here’s a rockin’ rendition of one of my favorite video game BGMs of all time, the theme from the Dr. Wily´s Castle stage from Megaman 2:
And here’s a couple more. Make sure to check out the one ranked first on the competition, he does the Super Mario Bros. theme using a flute and beatboxing. Flippin’ sweet!
I have three best friends. Names are irrelevant. One of them has been my best friend for about 6 and a half years, the other two I just met this year. Lately, they’ve all been in there little circle excluding me from everything. They will do shit together and not invite me, etc., etc. It’s just pissing me off and I am hoping it’s just a phase because I don’t want to lose them as friends, especially the one I’ve been friends with for a long time.
We were all supposed to do something tomorrow, and I have a strong feeling they will end up having me not come. I’m just pissed and I don’t know what to do. Or maybe I’m just being paranoid, I dunno.
For people who work on cubicles (like me), there are times when everything seems like a routine and it get’s pretty boring. I was able to find some ways to make work more fun and interesting for everyone though, even if it’s just for a while.
1. Cubicle Toys - It might seem geeky, but having action figures or desktop toys kinda makes you feel relaxed and more comfortable with work. Being a collector I bring some of my extra figures to work, and when I feel uneasy or when I’m out of ideas, it’s fun to reach out to one of them and pose them around. You can also get some wacky office supplies or cube toys too, as long as it’s okay with your boss otherwise you’ll get in serious trouble.
2. Dress Theme Days - Here’s one thing our office is currently doing. Every Wednesday, we have an Outfit theme day, where we dress up depending on the assigned theme for the day. You can suggest wacky themes like alien, army or pirates! It’s also great if there’s a prize for the best dressed worker or team of the day.
3. Play pranks on your coworkers - If you’re really bored at work and you want to do something radical, try playing an elaborate prank on your officemates, like what these guys did here:
Well, those are some tips to make your workplace more exciting and fun. Just make sure you won’t get in trouble for it!
